Firstly, my apologies in advance because I’m going to spew quite a bit of vulgarities in this post. Why? Because I am pissed, sick and tired, etc, etc!
Its got to do with this whole fucking Mas Selamat Kastari fiasco! I’ve been holding back my anger and frustration over this damned thing till I saw this frontpage crap by the ass-kissers in the pro-government Straits Times and also reported by the ass-kissers over at CNA!
I mean, we don’t fucking need to be told that it was due to complacency, we’re not infallible, etc, etc!!! We already know all that!! So what the fuck!! And this fucking crap takes up half of the fontpage in the Straits Times in its weekend edition!! I really don’t give a fuck what the “great old sage” of Singapore has to say! And if the fucking ass-kissers in the local media don’t really have anything worthwhile to report, then don’t fucking report!
We need full and truthfull answers. So tell us or report something which we don’t know and save us the fucking crap!!
To my readers, sorry for the outburst but I had to get it out.
lol,u might get sued for this.don ask me why
MM admitting this is the usual way to tacitly telling everyone that it is an honest mistake and so let’s move on again.
haha this is getting interesting. but even he mentioned that truth are needed to explain right?
His “infallible” message is not for the locals.
He is trying to tell the rest of the world that the Singapore Government cannot be perfect all the time and that there are times that the government cannot always be “number one” at everything.
He is crafty as usual, he is trying to narrow the range of people to blame for this great escape. He is saying that MSK is clever and the guards are not smarter than him. He is careful not to say anything about the minister and the ministry in-charge of ISD. He solely blamed the cunningness of MSK and the sloppy work by the guards.
But, what about the forward looking helicopter vision of the guards’ supervisors to anticipate the psychological foreplay performed by MSK on the guards?
He said:
“I’m not a detective…but we do have people who understand what we ought to be following.”
Really, who are these people who understand …?

Personally, me do understand your outrage, you are not the only one using vulgarities, many others did and likewise, I think they should not be blamed.
The Escape of Mas Selamat maybe serious though I think it is not too alarming. What is alarming and unacceptable to most citizens is the failure to disclosure important informations when the call arises for their safety and wellbeings. Even more serious and hurtful to the people is the failure for the people responsible for the Escape made answerable, none until now yet. If the people are enraged, it is very understadable. I even feel that MP Teo Ho Pin was upset as the response by the Authority was(is) very unsettling.
I see some hopes in MPs Like Lily Neo, Teo Ho Pin and hope that the other MPs will have the gumption to act honourably when needed to.

throw these people who give us crap out of parliament. Malaysia boleh, so can us. provided they don’t rigged the election.
I am disappointed that the blogger has had to resort to profanity to reveal the true extent of his feelings.
Singaporeans want a credible opposition; I too believe the government is stifling and high-handed in its approach of the people.
However, bloggers need to assume full responsibility for what they write. The young and impressionable have free access to the content available in cyberspace. Publishing an apology as a disclaimer before flying off on a rant peppered with profanities doesn’t make a difference. Is this the “alternative” voice the people need? In order to rally like-minded people together, must flames be fanned in such a manner?
As a mother of two young children who has previously voted for the opposition in the previous single seat of Bukit Timah, I am inclined to agree with the message, but I am utterly disappointed in the choice of language in this post.
True, you may say there are bigger issues to address besides picking on a post which was letting off steam. But the people also need an opposition which conducts itself in a dignified manner at all times and who will set a better example than the PAP to future generations.
I don’t see this as leading by example. An impassioned outburst can sometimes reveal an individual’s truest colours. This post has abused the freedom of speech — if everyone airs his views like this, the Internet is a sorry domain to be. Profanity has no place in politics. If you want the people to listen, please get basic decorum right. I for one, do not want a member of parliament who cusses to make himself understood or to add ‘conviction’ to his views.
You may like to refer to Mr Chiam See Tong who has repeatedly shown his longevity in opposition politics: He has never resorted to mockery, obscenties, sarcasm or derogatory remarks. Neither has he portrayed himself as a struggling politician, misunderstood and victimized. The SDP in recent years has alienated itself from the man in the street and sometimes the littlest things, like this one-off post, can be a total turnoff.
Read what’s posted again and don’t tell me it’s NOT shocking. You may see it as personal opinion and that it’s harmless, but you have to take charge of your actions. People ARE watching and reading.
PS: And I do know it’s not Dr Chee who penned this one
It is tragic that people like Rin cannot see past the occasional profanity and reprimands the author over the choice of language. It is a down-to-earth expression of extreme frustration and anger. Using words ever so carefully to avoid appearing inflammatory is at best pretense. Pseudonymity is not engaging in diplomacy, and has no need to either.
One does not need to say “I am sad” when he is overwhelmed with emotions. He just cries.
I am not sure why Rin then follow ups with a critique of the opposition, hailing Chiam and criticising SDP in the process. 7 paragraphs out of 9. I have to wonder his or her motivation for writing.
I felt that mas selamat is still in singapore because i belive that singapore will surely take this matter seriously, they will not let mas selamat escape just like this. They send sms,tv advertisement and even t-shirts to find him!Singapore is taking this matter very seriously. They will surely find him!
